Sammamish, Washington

Name: Cash (left)
Milly (right)
July 2017
12 day Pet/Home Sit

These two siblings love to sunbathe.
Cash has his fur shaved to keep him cool this summer.
He enjoys running around his large
backyard and peeking through
the fence at the neighbors new puppy.
Milly is shy at first but once she licks your hand she's your buddy. She loves to cuddle on the couch and try to keep up with her big brother outside in the yard.

Name: Missy
July 2017
12 day Pet/Home Sit

Missy, what a character. She enjoys being in the mix, usually the one to lead the crowd. Although, don't cross her or else you will get a paw to the face. She pretends to play nice but underneath it all
she's a "Real Housewife of Sammamish".

NAME: Beaulah (top)
 Maude (bottom)

2016 and February 2017

Home/Pet Sit

I am currently staying with these lovely ladies. It has been such a treat. I enjoy waking up to their smiley faces in the morning. Little Maude had chemo treatment for 7 months. Occasionally she needs to be given medication.  Both of the girls have fun taking rides in the car since Maude can get tired out quickly. They both love their squeaker toys especially the bright orange cupcake. There is definitely sibling rivalry between the two with each one trying to grab the others' toy out of their mouth.

NAME: Pickles

November 2016
Month Home/Pet Sit

Pickles and I met while I was on another home/pet sit job. We had the opportunity to spend the Thanksgiving holiday together. Pickles has loads of energy and LOVES to run. He is like a little bullet being fired from a gun. He shoots out and just goes and goes. I love his enthusiasm. He was a bundle of fun to stay with and I know we became good friends.

NAME: Hank

Summer 2016
Afternoon Walk

Hank made an impression on me while a friend was watching him for her professor. I asked to take him out for the afternoon. It was time well spent. Hank is a well mannered guy with a positive attitude despite only having three legs. I'm glad I had the chance to hang out with handsome Hank.

1 week Home/Pet Sit

This hip fellow has a big personality as well as an independent voice that he is not afraid to use. I'm sure his gorgeous blue eyes attract all of the ladies in the neighborhood. I'm a sucker for blue eyes too.

3 x Weeklong Home/Pet Sit

Word spread through mutual friends that I was available to home/pet sit. I had the opportunity to spend time with Mel at different times throughout 2016. Mel is a beautiful pooch with such an adorable look I couldn't help but give her extra treats.

I was introduced to this timid girl by a former co-worker. As I gained the trust of Duffy my co-worker offered me some weekend sitting opportunities. Duffy and I enjoyed going for many walks around her neighborhood in north Seattle as well as trips to the park.

One Month Home/Pet Sit

My great friend Chelsea over at frolic-blog.com invited me to join her in the U.K. for the December 2014-January 2015  holidays to watch and care for the home and pets of Manor Farm Cottage Flowers near Wells, Somerset.
As my first home/pet sitting experience I wasn't sure what to expect, especially being in another country. It only took a few days to get a routine going and we began to feel right at home. We were given permission to use the farm truck which was another fun experience learning quickly to drive on the opposite side of the street. Chelsea was "kind enough" to give me the full responsibility of driving. Ha ha!
The dogs would let us know it was time to wake in the morning as they barked and made noise downstairs. Cuddles the cat would mosey in and out at her own pleasure, generally finding a quiet, warm spot to hide while the small circus continued throughout the day. The six sheep and ram were fed buckets of grain and hay in the morning and evening. The neighbors and friends of the farm were very amiable and looked out for us and answered questions we may have.
